Help Finding A Cure for Cancer
United Devices invites you to download our software - a small program called
the UD Agent - and become a Member of the United Devices Community. 
The UD Agent can recycle your PC's unused resources and use them to perform
valuable scientific and medical research without disturbing your usual computer
use.
United Devices supports non-profit projects like our current Intel-United Devices Cancer Research Project. United Devices offers the opportunity to win prizes and other rewards to thank our members who choose to run our commercial applications in addition to the nonprofit projects. UD also donates to the Make-A-Wish Foundation on behalf of members who run our commerical projects. Currently all the computers which run the UD Agent are only running the non-profit Intel-United Devices Cancer Research Project.
UD maintains a member policy of full disclosure and full choice. Members will be notified about future projects prior to a project's launch, and will always be able to opt out if they do not want to participate. Members always know what project is running on their machine. The UD Agent isn't invasive on either a personal or technical level. Our Agent runs unobtrusively in the computing background, and we have stringent policies to protect our Members' privacy and security.
